Platforms covered on the main page include Candy AI, OurDream, LuckyLove, Mega Nova and, as the mainstream point of contrast, Character.AI.

How I source a page

Rules, billing and regulation come from primary sources only: help centers, community guidelines, FAQs, pricing pages, privacy notices, legislation and regulator case files. For the main page that meant Character.AI's help center, Mega Nova's community guidelines, Candy AI's homepage and FAQ, OurDream's homepage, anime page and pricing, LuckyLove's homepage, and Ofcom's case file on Novi Ltd under the UK Online Safety Act. LuckyLove's homepage was checked on November 2, 2026, and the other sources on October 16, 2026.

Review sites are not used as sources. Where marketing and a platform's own rules disagree, I quote the rules. The full process is on the methodology page.

What I don't do
